I&#039;ve been using an old blade grinder for a few years. My coffee palate may not be as discerning as an expert&#039;s, but I&#039;ve never noticed any brew inconsistencies in my morning cup. 

I admit I haven&#039;t tried to grind espresso on my own. I usually let someone at the shop do that. Maybe I&#039;ll sacrifice some of my beans and give it a try.</description>

		<description>One subtype of burr grinder you forgot is the manual burr grinder. These are even better than the electric ones since you can go slow enough not to build up heat from friction. A pepper grinder is basically the same as a manual burr grinder...but for pepper. And for the record, I use an electric blade grinder - considering switching to a burr grinder after reading this post. Thanks!</description>
